1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Teacher Pau's English Class. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

If you are registering on behalf of a minor child, you represent that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and agree to these terms on behalf of the child.

2. Description of Services

Teacher Pau's English Class provides online English language tutoring services for children aged 4-15, including:

  • One-on-one and group English classes via video conferencing
  • ESL (English as Second Language) instruction
  • Learning materials, resources, and homework assignments
  • Progress tracking and learning assessments
  • Free initial assessment class for new students

3. User Accounts

Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must verify your email address to access full account features
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, or have parental consent

Account Security

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, please contact us immediately.

4. Subscription and Payment

Subscription Plans

We offer the following subscription packages:

  • Basic ($49/month): 4 classes per month
  • Standard ($79/month): 8 classes per month
  • Premium ($119/month): 12 classes per month

Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis
  • Billing cycles may be weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly
  • Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice

Refund Policy

Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us within 7 days of purchase if you are unsatisfied with our services. Unused classes may be eligible for partial refunds or credits toward future classes.

5. Class Scheduling and Cancellation

Booking Classes

  • Classes must be booked through our online platform
  • Class availability is based on teacher schedule
  • Confirmation will be sent via email and/or in-app notification

Cancellation Policy

  • Classes may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice
  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may forfeit the class credit
  • No-shows will be marked as completed and the class credit will be used
  • Teacher may reschedule classes due to emergencies with reasonable notice

Technical Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring adequate internet connection and compatible device/browser for video classes. Technical issues on your end do not qualify for class credits.

6. Class Sessions and Recordings

Video Classes

Classes are conducted via Daily.co video conferencing. By participating, you consent to video and audio communication with the teacher.

Session Recordings

With your consent, class sessions may be recorded for educational purposes. Recordings are used for review, progress tracking, and quality assurance. You may opt out of recording by notifying us before the class.

7. User Conduct

When using our services, you agree NOT to:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or harm the teacher, staff, or other students
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Record classes without permission
  • Share or distribute learning materials without authorization
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data

8. Intellectual Property

Our Content

All learning materials, worksheets, flashcards, videos, and other content provided through our platform are the property of Teacher Pau's English Class and are protected by copyright laws. You may use them only for personal educational purposes.

Your Content

Any content you submit (such as profile photos or homework submissions) remains your property, but you grant us a license to use it for providing our services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for services in the preceding 12 months
  • We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or English proficiency levels
  • We are not responsible for technical issues beyond our control

10. Account Termination

By You

You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, fail to pay for services, or for any reason at our discretion with reasonable notice.

11. Dispute Resolution

If you have any disputes or concerns regarding our services, please contact us first to attempt to resolve the issue informally. We aim to respond to all concerns within 48 hours on business days.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict of law principles.
